Boxing Day 2025 is in the rearview now – shop these 120 best deals still available to buy as picked by a tech expert
Grab a bargain on smartphones, tablets, audio gear, TVs, cameras, laptops, appliances and much more
We're in the last stretch of not just 2025, but the last sale event of the calendar year as well. As I've mentioned previously in this coverage, Boxing Day sales are no longer one-day events. What kicked off in full swing on December 22 is now slowly coming to a close.
If you haven't picked up anything yet, don't miss out. Some of these prices are too good to pass up. Many match what we saw during Black Friday, while others are only slightly more expensive. A few are cheaper than Black Friday!
You can either treat yourself to something new for the new year or get any back-to-school shopping done while the prices are still low. We don't usually have steep discounts in January, so now would be a good time to pick up a good laptop for school or university, or any other piece of tech a student might need – after all, tech is expensive and you should never pass over the opportunity to save.
If you aren't shopped out yet, take a look at my handpicked Boxing Day deals below – from laptops to TVs, cameras to headphones, and plenty more in between, and they all come with significant savings.

Best Boxing Day 2025 deals in Australia
Smartphones & accessories
This is an eye-catching phone with a unique design. It even has impressive battery life, plus a clean software. If you're after a budget handset for regular use – calls, texts, a little browsing – this is perfect. It doesn't have a lot of power for heavy use and the camera setup isn't as impressive as what you'd get from flagship phones with higher prices tags, but this discount helps sweeten the deal.
One of the best cheap phones in Australia, this Motorola handset is packed full of value if you don't need the latest and bestest phone on the market. For your money, you get a vivid display, impressive battery life and very good everyday performance. Don't expect it to handle heavy gaming, but its plenty for the average user. Note that the Slipstream (dark blue) variant is cheapest – lower than the Black Friday price – but the other two colour options are AU$497 (the same Black Friday offer).
The Google Pixel 9a is still a respectable entry level-premium option with a great camera and long-term support. Our reviewer found its camera provides some of the best macro photography capabilities anywhere, and that it boasts the same Tensor G4 chip found in the more expensive Pixel 9 models. It’s worth noting that while there will likely be a Pixel 10a sometime in the first quarter of 2026, the Pixel 9a is still good value and now AU$20 cheaper than Black Friday.
If you want to buy this phone outright, Amazon is matching its Black Friday price that we saw from The Good Guys in November. Sitting somewhere between the previous iPhone SE and its flagship iPhone 16 sibling, this 2025 release offers the Apple experience with a few less bells and whistles in exchange for a reduced price tag. Its smaller form factor (6.1-inch screen size) may also be appealing to fans of the iPhone minis of yore.
A weird and wonderful contender from an outsider brand, Nothing’s Phone (3) offers excellent value at its usual retail price, let alone with savings of more than AU$500. It boasts a robust camera system, large battery and unique design. Love it or hate it, we think it might just be the most interesting phone of the year – and at this price, it's a steal.
This isn't as good as the AU$500 discount we saw during Black Friday, but hey, it comes close. If you missed out then and you've been holding out for a new Android phone for the new year, this offer ain't bad. In our Google Pixel 10 review, we called it Google's "most competitive" smartphone yet. It boasts great cameras, useful AI tools and an unbeatable design.
This is a pretty good price drop on a phone we believe offers the best cameras of any Android with its 200MP (wide) + 50MP (ultra-wide) + 10MP telephoto setup. It also boasts an incredibly long-lasting battery life and stunning display. Plus, there's an additional AU$10 Amazon store credit to be had on this purchase.
Apple AirTags might be the most popular Bluetooth tracker, but thanks to a mighty discount, this Ugreen alternative might be the better buy. It has Apple Find My certification – which means iPhone users don't need to download a separate app for it. Plus, its built-in buzzer provides a very loud noise that helps you find your missing item. It's even designed to be easily attached to bags, pet collars and more. Make sure to click the 10% coupon to get the full discount here.
Samsung's alternative to Apple's AirTag was redesigned in 2023 and has been reasonably well received, making it a good Bluetooth tracker for non-Apple users. It'll let you keep tabs on the location of whatever you attach it to and, critically, it works with Android. A single unit has been as cheap as AU$29, but this is still a recommendable price.
If you've been looking for a set of tracking tags perfect for the Apple ecosystem, AirTags are your best bet, and this is one of the best prices I've seen in a long time for the four pack of Apple's Bluetooth tracker. This means each unit is just AU$32.25 and a lot cheaper than just buying one.
The INIU B64 is one of our favourite power banks, and while this isn't quite the lowest price we've seen (that was AU$95.99), there's still good bang for buck here. The B64 has up to a massive 140W output for fast charging anything from a phone to a laptop or portable gaming device. The large 27,000mAh (99.9Wh) capacity is (just) flight safe, it can charge three devices at once and is backed by a long three-year warranty.
The Anker 737 gets excellent results in our best power banks guide, and has a 140W output, a 24,000 mAh capacity (86.4Wh, so flight safe) and an excellent 85% efficiency. This is the typically discount, and we have seen it about 10% cheaper before – so check back closer to Boxing Day if you are happy to wait and see if it drops again.
Tablets & ereaders
The latest in Samsung's well-received budget tablet range, the A11 picks up where the A9 left off, and at the same price too. Although the 256GB version is currently cheaper than the 128GB and that represents excellent value for money. If that wasn't enough storage, you can expand that easily to up to 2TB via a microSD card. If you need an Android tablet for daily use like browsing, watching videos and maybe playing a few games, this one's well worth considering.
Want a premium Android tablet experience without the high price tag? This older S series slate comes with the S Pen, which makes it suitable for artists and notetakers, adding value to what is still quite a powerful device. Plus, Samsung has guaranteed security updates for the Galaxy Tab S9 until 2028, so it still has a couple years of life left in it.
Admittedly not a big discount at all, but any saving on an iPad is, I think, worth considering. This compact iPad has a slightly more powerful chip under the hood than the entry-level iPad. With Apple Pencil and Smart Folio support, this 8.3-inch slate is not just portable, but would be a handy device to have if you're working on the go.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra is a powerful tablet, boasting a huge 14.6-inch AMOLED screen with an impressive 120Hz refresh rate. It's well-designed for browsing online, sketching, or watching your favourite shows, but it's also perfectly capable of being a complete laptop replacement once paired with a keyboard.
It's a very small discount, but one that I can't help highlight because it's a fantastic Kindle alternative. In Australia, most public libraries support OverDrive, so you can use your Kobo to borrow ebooks rather than spend money buying them. The monochrome screen is well optimised and there's Bluetooth connectivity for audiobooks (which no Kindle in Australia has). If you want a good 6-inch ereader, I highly recommend this one – and it wasn't even discounted during Black Friday.
While this discount isn't massive and is AU$20 more than what we saw over Black Friday, it's still a discount to consider on what I think is the best Kindle on the market. Its E Ink Carta 1300 screen is fantastic, page turns are quick and I gave it 4 stars in my review.
It might be slightly smaller than the Kindle Colorsoft (see below), but even at full price, the Kobo Clara Colour is cheaper and you get audiobook support. There's even baked-in OverDrive that allows you to borrow from a local public library that supports the platform. So, in the long run, this could well be the more economical colour ereader, and it's repairable too.
It's not a huge discount on what is hands down my favourite ereader, but it's cheaper than the Kindle Coloursoft (see below) right now and it has writing capabilities like the Kindle Scribe. Its user interface is clean and easy to navigate, there's 32GB of storage, and Bluetooth connectivity for audiobooks (Kindles in Australia don't have this feature). I'm also very partial to the ergonomic design. Oh, did I mention it has a 7-inch colour E Ink screen?
Using a 7-inch E Ink display with support for over 4,000 colours, 16GB storage and up to eight weeks' battery life on a single charge, the Colorsoft is hard to pass up, especially if you mostly read comics, manga or graphic novels. While it's not the most impressive discount (it was AU$20 cheaper for Black Friday), a AU$70 reduction isn't something to scoff at.
Kindles are known for their reading capabilities, but with the Kindle Scribe, you get that and a whole lot more. With a wide range of writing features, you can take notes, create sketches and brainstorm like a pro. I use it every day and love the 10.2-inch glare-free screen that has its own ambient light sensor to adjust screen brightness automatically, and I can't complain about its battery life either.
Audio
These affordable earbuds with ANC are brimming with features, including a range of ANC modes, EQ presets and other audio adjustments. They sound good (but you'll want to tweak it from the default) and they'll last up to 7.5 hours with ANC on before they need a recharge. Check out our Earfun Air Pro 4 review for more info and take advantage of this offer.
Smaller and lighter than the WF-1000XM5, the LinkBuds S are an alternative flagship wireless in-ears from Sony. That makes them more comfortable to wear, particularly for long periods. As we noted in our 4-star LinkBuds S review, they're still water resistant and offer both good audio quality and noise-reduction, but the sound isn't quite on par with the WF-1000XM5. They are, however, massively cheaper than the XM5s thanks to a huge 54% discount.
They were 45% off previously, but these buds at this price is definitely a deal worth checking out as they're one of the best true wireless buds... until the second-generation was released. Its ANC performance is par excellence and, being Bose, it doesn't compromise on sound either. Standout is the feature called Immersive Audio that makes a huge difference if you like your music 'surrounding' you.
This is a fantastic deal on Sony's flagship in-ears, although the pink variant was down to AU$249 not that long ago and this offer on the black colourway is AU$2 cheaper than what I saw during Black Friday. With very good sound, incredible comfort, and some of the best battery life on any earbuds with ANC, the WF-1000XM5 are a steal at this price.
Offering “incredible sound”, the Bose Ultra Open Earbuds have all the power and quality you’d expect from a Bose-branded item while providing the benefits of an open-ear form factor. The Immersive sound is excellent, and there’s also up to seven hours of play time and up to 48 hours of standby time. They simply just work and work very well. Note that only the black colourway is this price thanks to an additional AU$4.95 coupon.
Despite having first launched in 2020, I still think the Sony XM4s offer the best bang for your buck of any pair of over ear headphones available today. They deliver excellent sound, effective noise cancellation, heaps of useful features and they even fold away for easy travelling.
This relatively new Bluetooth speaker has been discounted to AU$157 before, making this deal an even better price. We gave the JBL Flip 7 a full five stars in our review and noted that the sound is a lot punchier than the previous model, plus it gets a bigger battery that lasts up to 16 hours.
Clean, detailed sound, full protection against dust and water and all packaged in a gorgeous body, the Bose SoundLink Flex is a Bluetooth speaker you'll want to take with you everywhere you go. Nearly all the colourways were going for AU$152 in July and AU$177 recently, so this isn't a bad price, but applicable only on the black variant and blue variants via a AU$5.01 coupon.
As we found in our LG xboom Grab review, the South Korean's re-entry to Bluetooth speakers is largely a success, as this portable model does an awful lot to pose a genuine challenge to JBL. Not only does it sound superb, but its packed with features, including integrated straps for connecting to surfaces and a beat-matching LED light. Now AU$10 cheaper than Black Friday.
We gave this new speaker 5 stars in our JBL Charge 6 review and said that if you want big, high-quality sound for a great price, it's unbeatable. And this is the same price we saw during Black Friday 2025, but note that only the black is cheapest, while the others come in just under AU$180.
It may not be the best speaker, but I don't think Samsung meant it to be a speaker first. It's more a picture frame that happens to be a speaker. It's solidly built, looks good and has room-filling sound. If you're an audiophile, you'll likely be disappointed by its lack of detail, but the average listener might enjoy it. And it's definitely a worthwhile consideration at half price.
TVs, soundbars & streaming devices
The B5 is LG's entry-level model, but don't think it's not a capable performer, as it's still an excellent screen. And, in this 65-inch guise, coupled with its wealth of gaming support, it makes for a fantastic addition to a smaller room or as a gaming TV. Read our full LG B5 review for a full rundown on its capabilities.
The S90F is the step-down model from the S95F, but in terms of overall performance, there's not a whole lot in it. So, if your budget can't quite stretch to the flagship, you won't be disappointed with this model. Plus, you can get in a larger size for less. You get an Anti-Glare screen, sumptuous colours and a gorgeous, slim design.
This fantastic telly has gone much lower in price in recent months, but if you missed out then, this is still a good discount for what is one of the finest screens to be released in 2025. The C5 continues where the company's excellent C4 left off, serving up superb colours, brightness and contrast, resulting in a TV that's perfect for most homes. It's a good-looking TV and has a wealth of gaming features.
It's often the #1 bestselling soundbar on Amazon and that doesn't surprise me in the least. It was very well received by experts at its price point when it launched in 2023, and has remained a top option for users too. It was down to AU$309 for Black Friday, but I think it's still a fantastic budget option at this price, offering Dolby Atmos support, plenty of bass and a wide soundstage.
This smaller Sonos model was previously our most recommended soundbar for those looking for something compact and for listening to music. Compared to its predecessor, the Gen 2 model includes virtual Dolby Atmos, HDMI eARC compatibility (for hi-res audio streaming) and a refreshed design. If you’ll be playing music on this more often than playing TV audio, the discount from its already mid-range price makes this deal hard to resist.
In our Bose Smart Ultra Soundbar review, we said this soundbar rivals the Sonos Arc – the best Sonos soundbar on offer. It's compact, beautifully built, and offers plenty of control options to go with its wide, detailed sound. It's now about AU$50 more than its Black Friday price, but be sure the additional AU$10 coupon as well.
A decent saving here on LG's 9.1.5-channel Dolby Atmos soundbar, and just AU$10 more than what we saw during Black Friday. It's a genuinely great and immersive soundbar. The wireless subwoofer delivers thunderous bass, while the soundbar and rear speakers work in unison to deliver effective and authentic Dolby Atmos soundtracks.
The most powerful Amazon streaming device, the Max offers improved Wi-Fi performance and a faster processor compared to the standard 4K version – letting you traverse every major streaming service easily and lag-free. Perfect for those who want a stress-free, high-value addition to the lounge room, all you have to do is plug it in like any HDMI cord.
Laptops & PCs
As long you keep the graphics settings at moderate, this impressive laptop will deliver playable frames for as long as you need. It has a large 15.6-inch screen and its Intel Core i5-13420H CPU plus RTX 3050 GPU all match well. Hard to complain for deal this price.
While it's marketed as more of a 'lifestyle' machine (which just means it's thin, light and aesthetically designed) but it's still got solid gaming talents, as long as you don't expect to play the latest games in the highest detail. The 144Hz screen is also a nice addition.
If you want a laptop that can easily handle games – but don't love how most of them look – the Gigabyte A16 is for you. While it might be subjective, we love its slick and smooth design. This is the base model with an RTX5050, paired with a 13th Gen i7-13620H. It's not lacking anywhere, with a 1TB SSD, 16GB of DDR5 and a very nice 16-inch IPS screen.
This versatile 2-in-1 features the latest Series 2 Intel Core Ultra 7 258V processor backed up by 32GB of RAM and a large 1TB SSD. The 16-inch (2880 x 1800) 120Hz OLED touchscreen display folds back through 360º and works with the Lenovo pen for writing and drawing. You also get extras like an IR facial recognition webcam, dual Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports and a decently large 70Wh battery. That's a lot of laptop for the money!
Gaming hardware
While the Quest 3S holds a few downgrades in the display department compared to the regular Meta Quest 3, you'll likely not notice unless you use them side by side. In most ways (including software and chipset), it’s identical, and a great option if you're looking to try VR gaming. It was AU$10 cheaper on Boxing Day from Amazon, but this deal is still excellent, and only a few dollars more than we saw on Black Friday.
Not quite the best price we've seen on the digital edition of the PS5 (meaning it can't take physical games on discs), but it's still one worth considering if you've missed out on the year's previous discounts. This is the lowest price available at the time of writing, with no stock on Amazon and a higher price from eBay.
If you’ve been hesitant to invest in the PSVR 2 at its full price, this deal brings it down to a better price than what we saw for Black Friday. Offering a seamless gateway to VR gaming when connected to a PS5, it’s a no-brainer if you're not too keen on the Meta Quest 3S (above).
Now, this is more like it! The PS5 Pro is now AU$3 cheaper than its Black Friday price, making it a lot more achievable if you've been saving up for this upgrade. It's still an expensive console and unless you're a super enthusiast with the need for some serious grunt under the hood of your console, this might be overkill.
It might not be the best controller for PC gaming, but it's still a fantastic option – and the best when it comes to PlayStation. Its haptics are world class and it feels excellent in-hand. The standard white model is cheapest right now at AU$84, but a couple of other colour options are AU$85 via the same listing.
It might not be a massive upgrade over the standard DualSense controller but then it's better built and its textured touchpad is an excellent addition. There are also two options for those remappable buttons on the rear that are removable if you won't use them. Plus the Edge-specific interface gives you plenty of customisations for the buttons via the Function paddles.
JBL’s Quantum 100M2 gives new gamers an easy, low-cost way into headset audio. You don’t get many add-ons, but you do get steady low latency sound and a boom mic that keeps your voice clear in chat. And this price even better than what we saw for Black Friday.
This is JBL's mid-range gaming headset, and while we haven't reviewed the standard 360, you can read our JBL Quantum 360X review (the version aimed at Xbox players) and our JBL Quantum 360P review (aimed at PlayStation gamers). The headsets are mostly the same except that the Xbox and PlayStation-oriented models are optimised for console play.
One of the best gaming mice available right now, the Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 Dex is an exceptionally lightweight and capable device, with a long-lasting battery life, five programmable buttons and a 32K DPI sensor. Also available in Black for the same price.
Looking to make more room on your desk? 65% keyboards are all the rage these days, and this from Asus streamlines things even further thanks to its low profile optical switches. A favourite among gamers, the Asus ROG Falchion RX version that's discounted here offers pre-lubed red linear switches and RGB lighting for some added style.
It's now AU$30 more than what this 27-inch monitor was at during Black Friday, but it's still a fantastic offer on a curved QHD display that boasts a 165Hz refresh rate. While you'll have to spend more for 4K resolution, it also offers HDR10, AMD FreeSync and a 1ms response time. It's a great pick up you're looking to upgrade your gaming (or work) station on a budget.
If you're looking for a mixture of size and speed under the AU$1,000 price bracket, look no further than this behemoth. 44-inches of 170Hz curved screen to lose yourself into, and at AU$899, it's a bit of a bargain (exactly what it was going for during Black Friday). The 5120 x 1440 resolution is also damn handy for those who will use it for work and play. Note that while it is listed as out of stock, you can still order it at this price and have it delivered once available.
It's non-curvred sibling earned five stars in our Samsung Odyssey OLED G8 review – in which we called it "a supreme 4K gaming monitor" – but we haven't reviewed this model. Still, its 34-inch curved screen has a 175Hz refresh rate, 0.03ms response time and a crisp 3440x1440 resolution, although it is currently AU$200 more than it's Black Friday price.
Video games
Widely considered a return to form – we agree! Awarding it four stars in our Battlefield 6 review, we fell in love with its fun multiplayer (though its campaign is middling). Just weeks after it launched, this discount makes it incredibly attractive.
Perhaps the best RPG of 2025 alongside Clair Obscur, this is a fantastic discount if you've been holding off on trying it out. It's unforgiving in combat, with a near sim level of dedication to reality. It's also happens to be one of the prettiest games you can play on PS5.
The last few iterations had left us with low expectations, but our reviewer called it "one of my favourite games of the year" in our Borderlands 4 review. If you want to loot, shoot and have a laugh, it doesn't get much better for this price.
Everyone's favourite open-world Mafia drama series returns, as we head back to Italy to learn the origins of the family we know. It left us wanting more, but sometimes that's a good thing. We found its story gripping and its world beautiful, but it was more linear than we were expecting heading into our Mafia: The Old Country review.
Looking to grab a little one something to play for Christmas this year? It's hard to go wrong with anything Mickey. This faithful remake promises to bring the magic of Disney to life in a vibrant 3D platformer – sending Mickey Mouse on an epic journey through a realm of forgotten Disney characters.
With high-definition graphics and a reworked interface that's better than the original's (released for the Nintendo 3DS), this stunning Switch 2 game has gotten a rare discount. There's even some other improvements here that make this sprawling tactical RPG a game worth picking up at half price.
This new Pokémon game is the first in the series to release natively for Nintendo Switch 2, so expect sharper and smoother gameplay than Scarlet & Violet. This one swaps turn-based combat for a live-action approach reminiscent of the Xenoblade Chronicles games.
This is more a remake than a remaster as its name suggests, with its combat system getting a full overhaul from the original and all the dialogue is now voiced. Those annoying and random encounters are gone too, making this JRPG a lot more enjoyable. If you loved Shin Megami Tensei V, or the Persona games, this is well worth checking out.
Vacuums
Our recently published Shark PowerPro review called it the best value vacuum the tester had ever tried and that's high praise indeed. It's also a newer budget model, so it takes advantage of the latest tech for a better clean. If there was any affordable cordless vacuum I would highly recommend, it would be this. Hit the price beat button on The Good Guys to get it for AU$273.
Taking everything that makes the standard Shark PowerPro one of the best affordable cordless vauum cleaners, but adding a bendy wand to get under furniture and headlights on the cleaning head to reveal all the dirt it needs to clean up, there's probably better value for money here for some users who'll take full advantage of the extra features.
With powerful and dynamic suction, plenty of attachments and an auto-empty charging dock, this is arguably the best value non-Dyson cordless vacuum right now. And there are no ongoing expenses here either because you won't need to buy dust bags. Just be sure to wash out the dust box in the dock and let it dry fully before popping it back for use again. While often sold around the AU$750 price point, this is the cheapest I've seen the PowerDetect Clean & Empty thanks to an additional AU$20 discount code.
Dyson quietly released this model earlier this year, offering a cheaper way to get yourself a wet-and-dry vacuum. It has lesser suction power than the V15s Detect, but we haven't been able to try it for ourselves yet. It also lasts no more than 40 minutes on a single charge. I'd say this would be better suited to smaller homes. This offer is significantly cheaper than Black Friday.
It might be getting a little long in the tooth but the V15 Detect is still arguably the best-value Dyson you can buy. This isn't the cheapest it's been, but it didn't even get discounted during Black Friday last month, so this offer definitely needs highlighting. It's lighter than the models that came after it, runs up to 60 minutes on a single charge (albeit in low suction and non-motorised tools), and the Fluffy Optic is a game changer for cleaning fine particles off hard floors.
Whether you want a standalone vacuum or a standalone mop, this Dyson does both remarkably well, but watch out for the dirty-water dripping out of the Submarine cleaning head after you've finished your chores. This vacuum was available for under the AU$800 mark for Black Friday, but I'd argue that it's still good value at this price as well.
Scoring AU$673 off Dyson's most powerful cordless vac is a great deal in my opinion, and you're getting it directly from the maker. This machine gets you up to 280 air watts of suction, which is plenty powerful even for the hairiest of carpets, plus up to 70 minutes of runtime (if used on low power and non-motorised attachments). It's a little top heavy in my opinion, but it's an excellent cleaner if you need a new vacuum.
If you live in a large home, having a high-capacity dust canister on your cordless vacuum cleaner is handy. Dyson's Gen5outsize comes with a bigger bin that's 150% larger than the usual Dyson ones, plus larger cleaning heads to get the job done faster. You even get a bigger battery that promises up to 70 minutes of fade-free power. However, that bigger battery and larger fixtures makes this a heavy machine, so it might be unwieldy for some users.
We called this wet-and-dry vacuum’s predecessor, the Floor One S7 Pro, the best overall for its excellent mopping and suction, a self-propulsion system and voice prompts. This newer version builds on those strengths, with a best-in-class suction of 22,000pa and 360º movement of the cleaning head. The S9 Artist also now features a lay-flat design to help fit under beds, sofas and other low-clearance areas.
As you'll find from our Roborock Saros 10R review, this premium robot vacuum is a talented performer. It can vacuum and mop incredibly well, benefits from an advanced LiDAR navigation system, and its low height means it can get underneath furniture that other robovacs may struggle with.
In my Ecovacs Deebot X8 Pro Omni review, in which it scored an impressive 4.5-star score, I called it a "chatty all-in-one robot vacuum that cleans better than most others". It's biggest drawback is its regular price, but this deal takes care of that – now the lowest price I've seen to date – letting you enjoy its strong suction, efficient edge cleaning, effective mopping and smart navigation at a much more accessible price.
I recently published my full Dreame Aqua10 Ultra review, giving it very high praise for its overall performance, but couldn't quite justify its full price. This offer still makes it an expensive investment but if there's any robovac that combines good looks with top-notch performance, it's this one. In fact, it's cleaning better than the Deebot X8 listed above.
When it comes to innovation in robot vacuums, I think the latest flagship in the Ecovacs range is the highlight. It's the world's first robovac to have fast-charging capabilities so it can work for longer, plus its base station completely does away with dust bags, reducing your ongoing costs. It can even wash the roller mop while it's fully soaked in hot water. It's still an expensive robot vacuum, but there's nothing quite like it right now – not at this price.
Cameras
Back to its Black Friday price, this affordable GoPro could well be what you need to capture your summer holiday (mis)adventures. With 12MP on top and 4K video capabilities, this action camera gets you up to 100 minutes of capture on a single charge, plus a lot of the features the brand is known for.
There's no denying why a GoPro is so popular, and the Hero 13 Black has been one of the best action cameras on the market for a long time now. If you've been holding off to get one to capture everything you get up to in the new year in glorious 4K, this discount is AU$20 cheaper than its Black Friday price.
This tiny camera has a massive 8K resolution, giving you plenty of head room to edit in post production. Plus, the flip-up screen is perfect for vloggers, while its rugged body allows you to go anywhere to film anything without too much worry. Its image quality is fantastic as well and I know some of my colleagues keen on photography are partial to it and, even better, the price is now back down to the previous lowest discount.
DJI's first 360 camera made headlines at launch, and this 25% discount (same as Black Friday) is welcome as it's quite an expensive little camera. Packed to the rafters with features, including 8K capture for up to 100 minutes or 4K/120p slo-mo, this waterproof shooter could well be the only action camera you need.
Only a dollar more than it's Black Friday price, this entry-level camera is already affordable even at RRP. It might be a no-frills entry-level model that has a fixed rear display, but its 24.1MP APS-C sensor is excellent and it can shoot 4K/24p video (cropped) too.
Officially, this film camera-inspired digital version is called the X-HF1, but it made headlines as the X Half. If you're a film photography buff but don't have the cash to spend on rolls (and the subsequent processing of the negatives), this is one offer not to be missed.
It was AU$1,099 from Amazon earlier in the Black Friday sale, which makes this an even better offer. Plus, tack on a AU$100 cashback offer from Canon via redemption and you end up saving AU$460 in total. With a larger 1.4-inch sensor that boasts Canon's trusty Dual Pixel CMOS II autofocus with face and eye detection for humans, cats and dogs, it also has an integrated fan and plenty of power – perfect for a content creator.
There's plenty of features that you get on this entry-level camera that will help you hone your skills, meaning you get a lot of bang for your buck with the 24.2MP EOS R8. Up to 40fps burst speed, fantastic autofocus and a lightweight body too. Plus you get a lens to get started. Note: this offer is from a third-party reseller on Amazon and won't qualify for Canon's cashback offer.
This is the cheapest I've seen this Nikon Z6 III kit drop to and if you're after a fantastic full-frame camera, this one is it. The 24.6MP sensor can shoot at up to 120fps, records 6K video, has built-in image stabilisation and dual card slots, including one for a CFexpress device to make full use of its speed. If I didn't already use the Nikon Z8 myself, this is what I'd get.
This 61MP full-framer has Sony's AI-based AF system and 8K video capabilities (albeit at 24fps) on board, but its high res sensor is best suited to the landscape photographer. There's even up to 8 stops of image stabilisation to keep it steady while on the move. Note, however, that this isn't as good a discount as the 21% might seem as the street price of the A7R V body is about AU$4,999.
The S9 is a compact rangefinder-like camera that's got some serious video skills. On board is 'open gate' 6K video recording with very effective image stabilisation and Real Time LUTs. Panasonic's custom colour profiles are next level, plus it has a new MP4 Lite format for 4K videos that are smaller and quicker to process than MP4. It's also the smallest full-frame camera from Panasonic to date. You'll get a lens as well in the box and you can claim a bonus gift card directly from Panasonic via redemption.
Wearables
The follow-up to the original Ray-Ban Stories, these smart glasses retain the classic Wayfarer look while packing a camera, speakers and new AI-powered features. Our review found that the 12MP camera and so-so audio meant that the glasses may not be for everyone, but gave it high marks for being lightweight and customisable.
We called this the best smart ring for battery life (rated up to 12 days + a further 150 days with the charging case) while also being a more affordable option than Oura and Samsung at full price. If you haven’t tried a smart ring before, these basically replicate fitness trackers but in a much smaller form factor – tracking your sleep, heart rate, activity and stress to determine your overall wellness score. This Gen 2 model even adds a sleep apnoea tracker.
The Garmin Vivoactive 5 is a brilliant all-rounder with an AMOLED display and 11 days of battery life, making it a great Apple Watch swap for runners and active users. The excellent Garmin Connect app can help you plan workouts and running routes, while you can follow along with gym-based exercises on the screen. It is, of course, more of a fitness tracker than a smartwatch, but it's good value even though we've seen it drop to AU$249 previously.
For someone who finds themselves in a lot of formal events, the Whitings ScanWatch 2 is a smartwatch that won’t look out of place with formalwear. It's a full-featured fitness tracker encased in an analogue dress watch, but with all the health tracking you need, including ECG. This offer is AU$60 more than Black Friday, but there's an additional AU$5.01 discount via a coupon here.
We called it "the best running watch ever" back in 2022 and its five-star Garmin Forerunner 955 Solar review (which just offers a longer-lasting battery than this non-solar model) supports that statement. It might not be in our guide to the best Garmin, but it's still a fantastic multisport watch.
Home security
The Blink Outdoor 4 is an affordable home security camera from Amazon with the ability to last up to two years off two AA batteries. It comes with an easy-to-use app and fairly good camera quality via a 1080p lens, and can store video when paired with a Blink Sync module. And this is a record-low price for a single unit that we saw even during Black Friday.
Give your home a doorbell and gain some peace of mind with the Ring Video Doorbell (Battery). As the name would suggest, it has a built-in rechargeable battery, meaning you don't have to have an electrician install it for you. That said, you do have the option of wiring it into your home's electrical system if you so choose. It provides 24/7 video capture in crystal clear 1080p HD and is an easy way to upgrade your home security.
There are video doorbells aplenty, but this one stands apart from the crowd by allowing you to see more. It promises to show you a head-to-toe image of who's at your door, and will do so in colour even at night. It also features motion detection and two-way talk. If you get a Ring Protection subscription, you'll also get notifications when a package getting delivered is within a specified zone. The 40% off here is not as good as previous 50% off deals, but still great value overall.
Smart home
GL.iNet is a Hong Kong-based router maker that specialises in making amazingly affordable devices for tech enthusiasts and small businesses. The Flint 3 is a great example – this is a speedy tri-band Wi-Fi 7 unit running a custom version of the open-source OpenWRT router OS, which is jam packed with advanced features including integrated VPN, ad blocking, parental controls, bandwidth limiting and loads more. It's only weak point is that it lacks mesh, but despite that we still gave it 4 stars in our review. Generally selling for under AU$300 anyway, it's frankly astounding value with this extra discount.
This little smart plug will turn any old lamp or small appliance into a smart one. Just plug in your kettle or a lamp and you can use the app or Google and Alexa voice commands to control said device. You can set timers, create schedules and more, depending on what you plug into this adaptor. It's already quite affordable at AU$22 a pop normally, but why not save a few dollars?
Check out our review for the full scoop, but the Philip Hue Play bar light will give your lounge room setup some very customisable backlighting. While you will need a Hue Hub (sold separately) if you want to sync or screen mirror, the Play can still create quite the ambience on movie nights. We often see it discounted to this price during sales, but otherwise it's sold at the full RRP.
I'm a massive Philips Hue fan and have a few smart bulbs scattered around my home, but every time I purchase one, I usually baulk at the price tag. So when there's a discount, I wouldn't hesitate sharing it, even though this has been around the AU$130 previously. There's a 2m length here to get you started, and it combines white and coloured light for some very pleasing effects. If you already have a Hue Bridge, this will work with your current setup, but you can use it independently as it's Bluetooth compatible too.
Kitchen appliances
This compact manual coffee machine can pour up to two espresso shots at once and features a steam wand for cafe-quality milk foaming. There's no built-in grinder, but you either use ground coffee beans or invest in a separate grinder using the cash you save with this deal. Now cheaper than Black Friday thanks to an additional AU$10 coupon.
Breville's compact manual espresso machine is perennially popular, and it's also fairly regularly discounted in Amazon's big sales. This Boxing Day discount is fairly typical, but we've only seen it cheaper once in 2025, when it briefly (and somewhat randomly) dropped to AU$349 in May. If you want a coffee machine that does both shots and milk, this one won't is a reliable performer that doesn't take up much counter space, though do note it doesn't include a grinder.
Breville's Barista Express coffee machine makes for a great all-in-one espresso machine that doesn’t need you to spend a fortune. While this model does occasionally drop down to around the AU$560 mark, we’re happy to recommend it with this AU$111 discount off the RRP, which isn’t too far off that. The Barista Express’s beautiful design and powerful integrated burr grinder (with 35 grind settings), helped it earn top marks from our reviewer.
This Philips bean-to-cup machine can make 12 coffee-based drinks, all of which are delicious brews time after time. We did find its milk foaming skills weren't the best in our LatteGo 4400 Series review, but it's hard to complain when it's discounted steeply. It's possible to pick this up for a lot less, but a 33% discount is still worth considering.
According to our 4.5-star Ninja Luxe Café review, this machine is worth the hype. Our tester said it was "an espresso machine anyone can master" that offers pro-level drinks without the effort. She also applauded its consistently great brews, ease of use, striking build and excellent value – quite a statement considering its price, which is now the cheapest it's ever been.
Probably the cheapest it's been, this is a Lightning Deal on Amazon, which means the offer ends as soon as stocks are done. So be quick! This air fryer uses a glass basket, so it's supremely easy to clean and there are no chemicals to worry about either. It's compact too.
Securing a spot on our list of the best air fryers, our reviewer said this innovative model from Ninja was the "air fryer of my dreams". It takes a familiar double drawer design, but stacks them on top of each other, resulting in a smaller footprint. Performance is exemplary, but just make sure the food you put in isn't that big, as the drawers themselves are 4.75L each.
This is the Creami on steriods! OK, that's a touch dramatic, but this ice-cream maker not only does what the original Creami offers, but adds in a soft-serve unit as well, one that has 6 programs. So, in total, there's 13 one-touch presets now available on the Swirl. So go on, indulge on those healthy (or not so healthy) cold desserts year round. This is AU$10 more than what it was last month, but be sure to apply the AU$14 coupon for the full discount.
Other appliances
There are a couple of varaints of the Shark FlexBreeze fan and my pick is the one with the misting attachment. It costs AU$50 more than the standard version, but that attachment could prove handy at your next backyard barbie. And it can run on battery for up to 24 hours. It will even convert into a tabletop or portable fan with the press of a button. A handy remote is also in the box.
Remarkably similar to the Dyson Big+Quiet, Dreame's AirPursue is doesn't just cool and purify, it can also work as a heater – so better value for money here. Built to work in large spaces (up to 175sqm), it's got a motion sensor, so it can automatically switch on if it detects anyone (even your pets) in the room.
Personal grooming
Offering one of the most fuss-free shaves, the Philips OneBlade 360 is a nigh-on essential tool for any man's grooming routine. The cutting blade itself can move in any direction, ensuring constant, comfortable contact with your face to remove your beard entirely, while an included guard comb allows you to trim your facial fuzz to a desired length.
Whisk away facial hair in one smooth motion using Manscaped's Beard Hedger beard trimmer. With 20 length settings, edge trimming capabilities and a fully waterproof body, you'll be perfecting your stubble in no time. We have seen this trimmer go lower in price before, but we think it's such a talented performer that we felt compelled to include it here.
This is one of the best sonic electric toothbrushes money can buy and it's now at the lowest price we have seen on Amazon. If you didn't know what a 'sonic' brush it, it's quieter and gentler than an oscillating electric toothbrush (like Oral-B). The DiamondClean 9000 has 4 cleaning modes, and one of them gets you 3 intensities.
This smart brush was down to AU$199 for Black Friday, but this offer isn't too far off. It harnesses the power of AI to recognise your personal brushing style and provide feedback via the companion app to improve it. It also features a pressure sensor and an interactive display, plus comes with a magnetic charging stand.
Cheaper than buying just a single Sonicare DiamondClean 9000 Series toothbrush (see above), this 2-pack gets you a his and hers set, along with a glass that's actually its charger. While the best price on a single unit is for the Navy colourway, this bundle pack will get you black and pink brushes.
It was the multi-styler that began the Airwrap-dupe trend and now it's slowly fading away from popularity with newer models from Shark itself and other competitors joining in. I use it myself and even though the Airwrap would be the better styler, I can't deny its overall value.
Promising to take way less time to straighten hair than traditional flat irons by working just fine in wet hair, the Airstrait is the hair-care tool making headlines. It won't burn wet hair as other straighteners would, leaving you with less hair damage and a quicker styling session in the mornings.
This hair dryer has a plethora of sensors that make sure your scalp remains healthy, automatically adjusting heat and airflow depending on how far away the dryer is from your head. You also get a bunch of magnetic attachments for a styled blow dry too – this hair dryer won a TechRadar Gadget of the Year Award in 2024, so it's well worth considering.

Shop the last sale of 2025
We're just days away from Christmas and while many of us are planning our summer holidays (if we aren't already well underway), others are probably looking forward to Australia's Boxing Day sales.
There's no need to wait any longer as some retailers have already started their sales officially, while others are offering deep discounts as 'early' teasers. The Good Guys and JB Hi-Fi are already in Boxing Day mode, and I had expected Amazon to start its sale today as well, but surprise, surprise, that's not happened yet. Despite that, I'm seeing some extraordinarily good discounts, many of which are better than what we saw during Black Friday.
So join me on me on my hunt for the best Boxing Day deals to be had – these may not quite make it in time for Christmas, but any back-to-school purchases you need to make or something to get your New Year resolutions started are definitely worth picking up now.
An easy Pill to swallow
I was very excited when the new Beats Pill Bluetooth speaker launched in 2024, but I held off for a discount. Sadly, it never saw one, even during Black Friday or Boxing Day last year, but it looks like JB Hi-Fi has permanently dropped the ticket price.
That means this lovely little Bluetooth speaker can now be had for just AU$179 in all colours. I haven't listed it as a deal on this page as this seems to be its standard price now.
The updated model has better sound, better battery and better dust- and waterproofing too. The only thing that could stop some users from swallowing this tasty Pill is the lack of an equaliser, so you're stuck with the sound it makes. Which, let me tell you, is good. So it may not be a deal breaker at all.
Beats Pill: AU$249 AU$179 at JB Hi-Fi
Doing last-minute Christmas shopping? Read this first
We're just days away from Christmas Eve, and while the festive spirit is in full swing, the reality of forgotten shopping has hit. If you’re looking to capitalise on Boxing Day sales in Australia, there are still some excellent ways to score those last-minute deals before Christmas day.
1. Shop on Amazon or Kogan
Amazon is the easiest option here but please note that at this time, even metro areas that are typically able to get same-day delivery may not be able to do so, depending on the product you're after. There are still, however, many items with same- or next-day delivery on Amazon. Kogan, too, is offering expedited delivery at this time.
2. Consider same- or next-day delivery options
Some stores, like JB Hi-Fi, offer on-demand delivery through services such as Uber. This can be a lifesaver if you find a deal you love and want it delivered straight to your door without waiting. JB Hi-Fi offers two types of Uber deliveries in metro areas:
ASAP Delivery: Your order will be delivered within 90 minutes to 2 hours of placing it.
Scheduled Delivery: If available, you can select a 2-hour delivery window during the store’s operating hours.
Eligibility: Orders must be placed within 20km of a store offering Uber delivery. Available 7 days a week from store opening until 2 hours before closing time.
3. Opt for in-store pickup or click-and-collect
The smartest move, if you spot a deal on our curated Boxing Day sales page, is to order online for in-store pickup. Why? This ensures the item is in stock before you brave the retail madness. Plus, your order will be ready and waiting for you to collect, saving you time and stress. Most major retailers offer this option, making it an ideal way to shop.
What to do about Amazon bargains
If the deal you’ve spotted is on Amazon but delivery isn’t feasible, don’t give up. Check physical stores like JB Hi-Fi and The Good Guys for the same product. These retailers often match or closely align with Amazon’s pricing, especially during major sales events like Boxing Day. You might just find the same item for a comparable price (or less if The Good Guys will price beat) and with the added bonus of immediate availability.
Better than Black Friday: Meta Quest 3S for just AU$409.99
The Meta Quest VR headsets have always been a relatively affordable entry into virtual reality and now the 128GB version has dropped to a better price than Black Friday 2025.
In fact, it was the same AU$418 from Black Friday at about 9:30am this morning (Monday, December 22), but Amazon has since shaved off another AU$8.01 off that price, so it's now just AU$409.99. In even better news, if you order now, you might get it delivered to you on Christmas Eve, depending on where you live.
If you're after a thoughtful Christmas gift for a gamer or you've been keen to try VR gaming yourself, it doesn't get better than this.
Hurry, Meta Quest 3S deals like this don't last very long.
Meta Quest 3S (256GB): AU$499.99 AU$409.99 on Amazon
Frame your music at half price
It may not be the best speaker in the business but, as a lifestyle product, the Samsung Music Frame is a worthy contender. I've tried it myself when I wrote my Samsung Music Frame review and, honestly, my biggest issue with it was its price tag – I just couldn't justify it at full price.
Well, guess what? You don't have to get it at full price because Samsung is discounting the Music Frame by 50%. Uh-huh, it's down from a whopping AU$699 to a much more acceptable AU$349.
It's got plenty of handy features, particularly its wireless streaming capabilities, and its sound is room-filling – it just lacks detail, which the average listener may not even realise. So if you were curious about it and you want a speaker that hides in plain sight, grab it now.
Samsung Music Frame: AU$699 now AU$349 at Samsung
Is the Amazon Fire TV Cube worth buying?
Amazon has quite a few streaming devices and, when discounted, the Fire TV Sticks, are very affordable indeed. The Fire TV Cube, however, costs more, even when discounted. So, is it worth the extra cost?
I'd probably say it's not worth paying full price, but when it's on sale, like right now for just AU$155, it's definitely worth considering.
One of the fastest-ever streaming media player, the Amazon Fire TV Cube combines all the benefits of a streaming device with Alexa support while also being a smart speaker to help you control your connected devices. Not only do you get access to every streaming app you can think of, you also get Dolby Vision, HDR and Dolby Atmos support, and it’s everything you could want.
Predictably, it inundates you with plenty of Amazon content, but that’s no bad thing if you have an Amazon Prime membership. Its home screen provides rows of suggested content you can watch or rent, and these days Amazon Prime offers some truly great shows and movies.
Amazon Fire TV Cube: AU$219 now AU$155 on Amazon
Sony gets brave with this deal
This is the TV deal of the day!
There are always good TV deals around, but this one stands out for being a very deep discount on a pretty good telly.
The Sony Bravia 8 II was announced in April, and I'm no expert when it comes to TVs, but my colleague Max Langridge assures me that this one heck of a deal. The 65-inch screen arrived in Australia with a high RRP of AU$5,499 but has since dropped to AU$5,295.
Head to Sony's own online store, where there are a couple of stackable coupons you can use – one is BOXINGSAVE at checkout that will shave off AU$80 from the listed price (which is already heavily discounted), and if you sign up for a My Sony account, you'll be sent a unique code that you can tack on that saves you an additional 10% (capped at AU$200).
Jump through these hoops and the price drops to AU$3,597. Not bad at all.
Sony Bravia 8 II (65-inch): AU$5,295 now AU$3,597 at Sony
Experience film photography... digitally
You don't need to buy a film camera or rolls to enjoy analogue photography – you can do so digitally now.
Yes, I know that reads like an oxymoron but that's exactly what the Fujifilm X Half let's you do – it emulates half-frame film photography by creating 3:4 vertical images on a 1-inch sensor. But to keep the experience as authentic as possible, there's a dedicated film camera mode that tracks your shots and you can't go back or review your images on the display.
It's not a powerhouse camera but it sure is a nifty compact that I'm keen on personally (I waxed lyrical about it on sister site Digital Camera World when it was discounted for Black Friday last month). Even better is the fact that it's dropped in price dramatically – and it's cheaper now too – which makes it all the more enticing.
Fujifilm X Half: AU$1,349 AU$777 on Amazon
A new Finder survey has discovered that Aussies – Gen Y and Gen X to be precise – are keen to spend upwards of AU$400 per person during Boxing Day sales. Gen Z and baby boomers are planning to be a little more circumspect, but that turns out to be over AU$3 billion in sales to close out the year.
Are you one of them? I wouldn't be surprised. Given the price drops I've seen over the last few days, this Boxing Day sale is turning out to be quite impressive indeed, rivalling last month's Black Friday sale.
Wake up and smell the coffee – just AU$79
The Nespresso Vertuo Pop is the famed coffee maker's smallest machine, yet it doesn't scrimp on features. Being part of the Vertuo lineup, it uses a wider range of pods that can brew a range of coffee sizes, from single espresso all the way up to a full mug.
This machine has been one of our faves here at TechRadar ever since it launched in 2023, with a couple of my colleagues using it themselves at home and none have any complaints. It works just as you'd expect and couldn't be simpler. All you need to do is pop a pod in and press a button, the machine takes care of the rest – it's that easy.
The AU$229 RRP is already good value in my opinion, but it's back to its lowest price of AU$89 on Amazon. There's an additional AU$10 coupon to be had as well, so be sure to check that box before checking out.
Nespresso Vertuo Pop: AU$229 now AU$79 at Amazon
A five-star Bluetooth speaker at its lowest price yet
We awarded the JBL Charge 6 review five stars, and it's one of the best Bluetooth speakers in Australia right now. If you're looking for a last-minute gift idea for someone who loves their music or wants to keep the party going all night long, this could well be a fantastic proposition. Depending on where you live, you could get it today or tomorrow if you order soon.
The Charge 6 is available in several fun colours, so you can pick the one that best suits your loved one, although only the black variant has an additional AU$17 coupon that you need to check on the listing page for it to apply at checkout.
With booming sound and an easy-to-carry design, you really can't go wrong with this one. Heck, it'll even charge your phone in a pinch.
JBL Charge 6: AU$229.95 now AU$160 on Amazon
Kobo ereaders – here's why I recommend them
During Black Friday in November last month, only the Kobo Libra Colour got a discount worth mentioning. It wasn't much, but then Kobo isn't like Amazon – the most it will discount its hardware is by 8% to 10%.
Even then, I personally think Kobo is the better ereader brand in Australia. Here's why:
- You can listen to audiobooks via paired Bluetooth headphones or earbuds, although the only audiobooks you can play on a Kobo are those you purchase from the Kobo Store or 'borrow' as part of your Kobo Plus subscription
- Higher-end Kobo ereaders have 32GB of storage by default – so getting the 7-inch Kobo Libra Colour with more features might well be the better buy than the Kindle Paperwhite or the Kindle Colorsoft
- Baked-in OverDrive support means you can borrow digital books from a local public library that supports this platform and, at the time of writing, many Aussie libraries do (borrowing library books on a Kindle is only available in the US)
- A cleaner UX makes a Kobo easier to master, and the Kindle homepage can look cluttered in comparison
- It's extremely easy to sideload ebooks in different file formats on a Kobo – just use a USB-C cable plugged into your computer. On the other hand, you'll need to jump through hoops (aka use the Send to Kindle app or web platform) to do so for Amazon devices)
- The 2024 Kobo releases are all repairable, extending their life
If that's convinced you, then the Kobo Clara line (BW and Colour) are AU$20 off on Amazon
Kobo Clara BW: AU$249.95 now AU$228 on Amazon
Kobo Clara BW: AU$249.95 now AU$229.95 on the Kobo Store
Kobo Clara Colour: AU$269.95 now AU$249 on Amazon
Forget a Dyson – this Shark vacuum is just AU$388
When it comes to the best cordless vacuums, everyone thinks first of a Dyson, and why not? They're all powerful, excellent cleaning machines. However, Dysons are expensive, even when discounted, so if you're willing to take a different route, consider a Shark instead – trust me when I say they have big bites without the high price tags and they're usually steeply discounted.
Take the base model Shark PowerDetect Cordless, which retails for AU$849, is now under AU$400 from a few retailers. Now, that is good value. Here's why:
- You get dynamic suction that the older V8 doesn't have
- It's great for debris pickup, although the V8 holds its own on carpets
- It has a higher-capacity onboard bin
- Its battery goes for up to 70 minutes (compared to 40 minutes for the V8), and it can charge slightly quicker too
Honestly, for AU$388, that's excellent value for money. Just don't confuse this with the Shark PowerDetect Clean & Empty, which comes with an auto-empty dock (and is currently AU$604 – down from AU$999 – on Amazon).
Shark PowerDetect Cordless: AU$849.99 now AU$388 at JB Hi-Fi
Also available on Amazon for AU$388
The sweet sound of Sony
My colleagues might gush over Sony's flagship over-cans, I personally prefer the in-ears. I don't like the feel of a band over my head or my ears being covered for too long.
If you're like me, then get yourself a set of the Sony WF-1000XM5 before they go back to being full price. They sound wonderful, feel comfortable in the ear (even though I had my doubts when I first tried them), and the black colourway is a couple of dollars cheaper than what it was during Black Friday.
Sony WF-1000XM5: AU$399 now AU$295 on Amazon
Lowest price alert on a mirrorless marvel
The Nikon Z6 III melds an incredibly compelling price with cutting-edge features like the world's first partially stacked sensor and vastly improved autofocus. For both stills and video it's a superb choice currently – not least because it's capable of extremely rapid burst rates and 6K video at a price point that's unparalleled. There's a reason why we've ranked the Nikon Z6 III at the very top of our best mirrorless cameras list as the best all-rounder right now.
If I didn't already use the Nikon Z8, I'd have bought me this one.
This fantastic mirrorless camera features an impressive 24.5MP partially full-frame stacked sensor with vastly improved autofocus and 6K video at up to 60fps. Our Nikon Z6 III review awarded this excellent camera a full five stars out of five, so today's price cut gets a glowing recommendation from me who, as a photographer myself, switched camps from Canon to Nikon just under two years ago.
The body alone was AU$3,038 from Amazon during Black Friday, making this the cheapest it's been to date. And if you want a lens, you can pick up the kit with the 24-70mm f/4S lens or the 24-200mm f/4-6.3 VR lens for cheaper than what the body alone is listed for on the Nikon website in Australia.
Nikon Z6 III (body): AU$4,499 now AU$2,891 on Amazon
Nikon Z6 III + Nikkor Z 24-70mm f/4S: AU$5,499 now AU$3,680.48 on Amazon
Nikon Z6 III + Nikkor Z 24-200mm f/4-6.3 VR: AU$5,799 now AU$3,944.73 on Amazon
AirPods Pro 3 deal alert – now AU$379
I've been holding out for a good deal on the AirPods Pro 3 and I'm tempted to bite the dust, thanks to a 12% discount on Amazon. This is the first significant offer we've seen on Apple's latest noise-cancelling buds – although it was previous available for around AU$385 from Amazon Japan and Kogan.
This offer – now AU$379 – is direct from Amazon AU and if you don't use the AirPods Pro 2 already, would be a fantastic option if you're keen on a new set of earbuds to pair with your iPhone (or iPad or MacBook).
Personally, I think the heart-rate monitor is superfluous, but some users might find it handy. For me, it's all about the fit – it's the first AirPods that actually stayed in my ear when I tried them for 10 minutes at a media event – and the better ANC. I think the noise cancellation is superior to the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds that I currently use (the first-gen) and I think the overall soundstage has been improved too. I can't say no to the 8-hour battery life either.
Apple AirPods Pro 3: AU$429 now AU$379 on Amazon
Dyson hairstyling tools are discounted – but are they worth it?
I may not have reviewed every single product in Dyson's haircare range, but I have had the privilege of spending some time with most of them and, let me tell you, they are good. That goodness, however, comes at a high price, which mostly seems to go into paying off Dyson's R&D department. So it's fantastic news that the latest in Dyson haircare has seen some seriously significant price drops for Boxing Day.
To answer the original question, though, it's a definite yes from me if you can make your budget stretch.
The Dyson Supersonic hairdryer started it all, releasing as Dyson's first haircare device in 2012, and it's a testament to how good it is that it's still popular in 2025, although the model sold now has been upgraded from the original. It offers supremely speedy drying times, convenient magnetic attachments and sleek results.
Dyson followed it up with the newer Supersonic Nural, which not only won a coveted TechRadar Product of the Year Award in 2024, but is one of the best hair dryers available. It packs more smart features like Scalp Protection and the energy-saving low power mode. If you can find it for under the AU$500 mark, they might well be worth it.
The Dyson Airwrap was a hugely popular and virally successful multi-styler, with the brand releasing multiple new editions to accommodate different hair types and lengths. With the OG model now sunsetted, the Dyson Airwrap i.d. is gaining traction. While the overall design and the key specs remain the same in the new edition, the i.d. works with a companion app and has three new attachment options (which you'll need to purchase separately, by the way).
Some devices such the Dyson Airstrait is certainly innovative, but won't be a top pick for everyone. It works well for some specific hair types, typically medium thickness straighter or wavy hair that isn't too porous, but otherwise might not do the job as well as conventional ceramic plates. At least it saves you time by working on wet hair. Still, the lofty price tag makes it inferior to market-leading, traditional straighteners.
Long story short: if you're willing to pay a premium for styling your hair at home, I would easily recommend a Dyson haircare tool. I have tried plenty of dupes and none come close to what the Dyson products can do. They do come close, though, and could save you a lot of cash if you don't necessarily need perfection.
Boxing Day shopping tips
Here's the best thing about shopping online: you don't have to deal with crowds.
So, if you're planning on resting after all the celebrations or taking it easy after a food coma on December 26, follow these simple tips and tricks to ensure you get the best price during this year's Boxing Day sales.
Make a list: If you know exactly what you want, you'll avoid impulse buys and save your cash for what you actually need
Do your due diligence: Tech is expensive, so make sure you check independent reviews like what we provide here at TechRadar to learn more about what you're getting or if you should opt for something else
Sign up for newsletters: Newsletters from brands is a great way to learn when a deal or sale is going live, so you're prepared to jump on the offer early
Set up price alerts: Our sister site Getprice offers regular updates on price drops – all you have to do is sign up for price alerts on the specific product you're after
Get familiar with return policies: Stores can sometimes alter their return policies during major sales, so make sure you know what the criteria are before you buy something
Shop early: If you're after a popular item at its lowest price, don't hesitate to check it out immediately as that ensures stock is still available
Compare prices: Just because one retailer lists a product at a good price, doesn't mean someone else won't price beat – shop around for the best possible discount
Don't open your purchases: After your purchase, hold on to the original packaging and your receipts in case you need to return it or exchange
Be a DJ on the move!
So, what is the Sound Burger? It's a portable turntable that runs off mains or battery power, it can stream whatever record is playing to a Bluetooth speaker, or can be plugged directly into an amplifier and a wider hi-fi system.
It can play both 33 1/3 and 45 RPM records, although admittedly, lugging around some full-size LPs with you is going to be trickier than travelling with the Sound Burger. And, if you do plan to travel with it, you'll be wise to invest in a carry case. Given the turntable is half price, you have savings to spare for the case.
It's such an iconic product having first launched just over 60 years ago and now it's been reissued for the modern vinyl fan, I'm sure it's legacy will continue for another 60 years at least.

A cordless vacuum for just AU$217!
For an affordable, no-frills approach to a clean home, look no further than the Shark IZ102 stick vacuum cleaner. It consistently proves popular with our readers, to the point where Amazon has occasionally run out of stock. It's also consistently been available around the AU$230 to AU$250 mark, so it's easy to see why stocks disappear quickly.
It's now back to its Black Friday price of AU$217, which is excellent value for money if you're budget is tight and the space that needs cleaning is small.
You'll get decent suction (although there are more powerful – and costlier – models available), an LED light on the brush head to show up any hidden debris, and a self-cleaning brush roll to ensure it doesn't throw dirt back onto your floors the next time you clean.
It also offers a few cleaning modes depending on the type of floor you're vacuuming, which are activated at the touch of a button. And if that wasn't enough, it can also convert into a smaller handheld vacuum for cleaning the car or upholstery.
It's essentially everything you could need from a vacuum cleaner at a truly affordable price.

Enter the Sonos Era of sound
My colleague and audio fanatic, Max Langridge, is a big fan of Sonos. So much so, in fact, he tells me his entire apartment is kitted out with the company's speakers, to use for music and home theatre.
He also assures me that this deal on the Sonos Era 100 is one well worth highlighting, as it knocks up to AU$63 off the talented, Wi-Fi speaker. The Era 100 arrived as part of a refreshed line of Sonos speakers, alongside the larger, Dolby Atmos-enabled Era 300.
The Era 100 effectively replaces the iconic Sonos One, and offers a raft of improvements. It benefits from a wider soundstage, much-improved bass performance and Bluetooth capabilities. Previously, you could only stream music to Sonos speakers over Wi-Fi, and while that's still the best option for the highest-quality playback, the addition of Bluetooth adds greater convenience.
You can use the Era 100 as a standalone speaker or, of course, as part of a stereo setup or multi-room group. The Good Guys currently has the best price when you use the Price Beat function, as it brings the price down to AU$256. You can also go direct to the maker, where you can grab it for AU$269. If you do go direct to Sonos, you can also browse a range of speaker sets, which can include a subwoofer if you wish.
I don't expect this deal to last long, so if you've been keen to enter the era of Sonos sound, this is an opportune time.
• Sonos Era 100 (white): AU$319 AU$256 at The Good Guys with price beat
• Sonos Era 100 (black): AU$319 AU$256 at The Good Guys with price beat
A must-have Apple gadget for just AU$32.25
Apple AirTags have been popular since the day they were announced and, while it's common to see a small discount available on the single unit, it's typically not a lot.
However, if you pick up the four-pack of AirTags, you'll be paying AU$129 for it right now, which is I've seen in a very long time. That brings each Bluetooth tracker down to just AU$32.25 a pop.
So, if you're like me who tends to misplace keys all the time, or you want to track your luggage while you're travelling this summer, or you want to keep tabs on your excitable furry friend, grab the 4-pack AirTags. You will, of course, need to be an Apple user (aka own an iPhone, iPad or MacBook) to use them with the Find My app.

Amazon AU's 2025 Boxing Day sale is on!
Unlike 2023 and 2024, when Amazon kicked off its Boxing Day sale on December 22, the online retail giant waited until 12pm on December 24 to start its last sale of 2025. We're covering that sale too, which you can follow in our live coverage of Amazon's best Boxing Day deals where my colleague Lindsay Handmer is handpicking popular offers.
Many of the offers either equal Amazon's Black Friday discounts or are actually better now, with a few that are slightly higher priced.
Still, there are huge savings to had and a great place to pick up those final bargains of 2025. New year, new gear!

Whether you're a content creator chasing more cinematic shots, or a hobbyist capturing your adventures, the Osmo 360 comes in cheaper than some of its Insta360 competitors, particularly the Insta360 X5, but not a lot has been sacrificed to keep costs down.
The Osmo 360 is IP68 certified, so protected from dust and fresh water at up to a metre. You can't, however, shoot underwater as it's only resistant to moisture up to 10m – DJI advices against underwater video capture with this camera.
If you're a landlubber, though, you'll love the footage from its larger sensor and its 10-bit video support. It even supports high frame rates of up to 50fps. And it's battery life isn't too bad either.
If you can get top notch results for a lower price, why wouldn't you opt for the DJI Osmo 360?

This phone deal is not Nothing
I love the name of this brand and, honestly, I also love the company's design ethos – it's so different from anything else on the market. Phones and earbuds that look like you can see into the mechanisms inside... it's fantastic!
And while Nothing has been making a name in the more mid-range or budget space, its latest is a premium flagship.
Our the Nothing Phone 3 review speaks in glowing terms of the handset itself, but docked marks mostly for it being, well, premium. However, shop on Amazon and the phone is AU$999 both black and white. And you have to take a look at that design, including the little pixel display!

Look here, Lego fans
If you're a fan of the popular, tiny building blocks as much as we are, you're going to want to take a look at our handpicked collection of the best Lego Boxing Day deals.
From affordable sets that cost under AU$20 to the more elaborate and expensive ones that can keep you busy for hours, my colleague Nico Arboleda is hunting them down and doing his best not to spend any more cash on a new set for himself.
Whether you're a Star Wars fan or Marvel, or you just want some Zen tranquility, he's got you covered with savings from different retailers on some of the best Lego sets.
Lowest price alert – this Bose means business
Stop the presses because Bose's best cans have dropped in price, cheaper now than what they were for Black Friday!
Bose is already listing the QC Ultra Gen 2 cans for lower than their launch price of AU$699.95 in all colours, and if you grab a unique single-use coupon from our dedicated Bose Australia coupon code page (the very first one on the page), you can apply that at checkout at Bose to score an additional 10% off any transaction above AU$200 (this definitely qualifies). And that will drop the price to AU$521.96, making this the lowest price yet.
That's still a sizeable sum I admit, but Bose's second-gen flagship cans are simply superb. Our Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones (2nd Gen) saw them come away with a full five stars, with our reviewer claiming "The king of active noise cancellation is back with a product that’s just a mild improvement on the model it replaces – which is, frankly, all it really needed to be".
The previous model was knocked off its perch by the Sony WH-1000XM6 as the ANC headphones to beat and, boy, was Bose clearly not happy with that. This new model reasserts itself as the true master of noise cancellation, backed up by a lively, engaging sound and the Immersive Audio mode that give any song the spatial audio treatment.

Go pro with all the action
GoPro discounts aren't as common or deep as what we often see on DJI alternatives, but you're in luck if you've been holding out for what is arguably one of the best action cameras around. AU$20 cheaper than its Black Friday price, the GoPro Hero 13 Black is good value right now when purchased from JB Hi-Fi.
It might be an iterative update of the Hero 12 Black – you can learn more about how the two flagship action cams compare in our Hero 13 Black vs Hero 12 Black article – but the auto-detected Lens Mods feature in the 13 takes GoPro's line of action cams in an exciting direction.
There's still 5.3K video with a versatile 8:7 aspect ratio sensor, plus incredible stabilisation and a mature range of accessories. Overall, the Hero 13 Black is a more polished effort than its predecessor. Put simply, you won't get better bang for buck than the Hero 13 Black right now.
GoPro Hero 13 Black: AU$649.95 now AU$477 at JB Hi-Fi
Exceptional espresso every time
I'm not a coffee drinker but I have a colleague who's a sucker for a good coffee machine deal and this recommendation comes from him – he knows what he's talking about too, having reviewed a fair few coffee machines in the last few years. As far as he's concerned, "the world would've revolve without a delicious cuppa joe in the morning".
While he hasn't personally tried out KitchenAid's espresso machines, our UK-based colleague (and certified barista) Cat Ellis can't recommend them highly enough. Based on our KitchenAid KF8 review, it's one that's seriously worth your consideration. How come? Well, Cat's opening line of "Great quality coffee doesn't get much easier than this", sums it up perfectly.
This is a supremely talented machine that will brew you perfect coffee in no time, and will do so ever so quietly. Plus, it's a real looker, in any of its colour choices. And, there are plenty of customisable drink presets to choose from, and perhaps best of all, it's easy to use.
Admittedly, the KF6 is perhaps the best overall value in the range, but that one is curiously absent from any discount on KitchenAid's website. You could also pick up the KF7 (which we haven't reviewed yet) with a AU$300 discount. It does everything the KF8 can do, just with a slightly smaller colour touchscreen.

Fizz it up in style this summer
While SodaStream might be the most popular sparkling water maker brand on the market, kudos has to be given to Breville for making what is arguably one of the most better-looking soda makers.
I have this machine at home and it fits right into my home bar, helping me making cocktails or even just re-fizz some flattened cola. Yes, the Breville InFizz Fusion can carbonate any drinkable liquid as long as it's not a hot beverage! I've fizzed up wine and orange juice too, even coconut water and I absolutely wouldn't recommend you try those last two – not good at all!
It uses the same CO2 canisters from SodaStream, so it's easy to replace and it's available in three colours, all for just a dollar more than their lowest price yet.

Love making pizzas at home? If you don't want to invest in an outdoor model like those from Ooni or Gozney, Breville has you covered with indoor options. The Pizzaiolo is expensive, though, and it's the only reason our colleagues over at Tom's Guide docked marks from their review. Otherwise, they say, it's a fantastic pizza oven that can hit 400ºC and produce pies that imitate traditional wood-fired ones.
This pizza oven been as cheap as AU$720 on Amazon previously but it was over AU$770 in November. That makes this a pretty good deal. That said, it's not the 46% discount that's currently listed on Amazon as the RRP shown is not AU$1,399 – the Pizzaiolo retails for AU$999 in Australia.

Why TechRadar is the best – and why you can rely on us
First of all, we're known for our modesty. Well, maybe not all the time... In all seriousness, though, we're extremely proud of the coverage we provide over every single major sale in Australia, be that EOFY, Prime Day, Black Friday or Boxing Day.
The vast majority of the products we recommend would have either been tested by us or we've had some hands-on time with them. There are many other editorial sites that simply don't do it to the extent that we do here, so we're confident in our recommendations.
Secondly, TechRadar is staffed by veterans who have been covering major sales in Australia for over a decade. Yes, we are quite old (well, at least some of us) and we don't have time for poor deals from any retailer.
If you're after some more excellent Boxing Day deals, take a look at our dedicated coverage:

A summer must-have: SodaStream for AU$84
If you're still buying bottles of fizzy drinks from the supermarket – whether that be Pepsi or sparkling water – you really ought to stop. Firstly, that's expensive in the long run. Secondly, that's a lot of plastic bottles (I hope you recycle).
One fantastic way to cut costs on the basics like fizzy drinks, especially for summer, is to get yourself a sparkling water maker, and there's none better than SodaStream.
The entry-level Terra is discounted to just AU$84 right now, and it comes with a 1L bottle and the gas canister, plus there's a 40ml bottle of lime flavouring too. You can pick up other flavours, including Pepsi, 7UP, kombucha, iced tea and more as and when you need them. And it's a lot cheaper than the Breville InFizz Fusion I mentioned yesterday.
Save money and save the planet.

A Dyson fan perfect year round
With the summer heat taking a firm grip on Australia, now is a great time to invest in a fan... that you can also use as a heater in winter. This Dyson Hot+Cool Jet Focus is more than up to the task, delivering smooth, powerful airflow throughout whichever room it's placed in.
It can oscillate, too, helping with coverage and there are no spinning blades for little ones to get their fingers caught in.
Best of all, it's currently on the receiving end of a AU$204 discount direct from Dyson, matching the EOFY and Black Friday offers from earlier this year.

The Luxe coffee machine everyone wants
If the viral Ninja Luxe Café has gone under your radar, then in essence, it’s a three-in-one bean-to-cup machine, capable of pulling a shot of espresso, pouring a cold brew and producing drip coffee. It also has an automatic steam wand for all the milk-based drinkers out there. Ninja states that this machine is "the ultimate guided experience", with 'Barista Assist Technology' that coaches you through the entire process.
Essentially, no matter your coffee order, this machine is for you. Plus, it allows you to experiment with new drink recipes without the need for a full barista course. It also comes with single-shot, double-shot and quad-shot filter baskets, which makes it pretty handy at whipping up a few coffees at once – or one that will really wake you up.
And the silver colourway is now down to an all-time low price of just AU$559.

An affordable phone with a premium experience
This mid-range phone found a place in our best cheap phones buying guide pretty much as soon as one of my colleagues was able to test it and, even at full price, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. In fact, it's carrying on a tradition, because its predecessor was also in the same list, so you know Motorola is doing well by you.
With one of the brightest displays in this price bracket and boasting a decent camera system, the Edge 60 Fusion also gets an upgraded Moto AI experience that helps simplify everyday tasks via voice commands.
A bigger battery, fast charging and improved durability have gone a long way in giving it 4 stars in our Motorola Edge 60 Fusion review.
All that for under AU$600 is a no-brainer for anyone looking for a new handset that won't cost an arm and a leg. The good news is the Slipstream variant (blue) is at an all-time low price.

The office chair I sit on daily is AU$130 off
I've been a fan of ErgoTune since I first encountered its Gen 3 Supreme chair. I use the ErgoTune Joobie in TechRadar's Sydney office (and it's discounted to AU$799 AU$669), but I want to call your attention to the ErgoTune Vesby instead.
I don't think I've come across any office chair that looks like it – in fact, it looks more like a peacock chair that would fit into a lounge room rather than in an office space. And that's exactly what it's trying to achieve: elevate your WFH setup with its design.
It's expensive for an ErgoTune chair, but even at full price it's a lot cheaper than any Steelcase chair I can recommend. Its widely spaced armrests are my favourite feature, but its ergonomics and adjustability are par excellence. And there's AU$130 off for Boxing Day.
ErgoTune Vesby: AU$999 AU$869 at ErgoTune
It's the morning of December 27 and hopefully you're fully recovered from the Christmas Day food coma you might have gone through. That means you're well and truly alert to the significant savings on top tech still available even though Boxing Day is done and dusted.
Some retailers will extend this sale into the early days of January, but many others will end it either at midnight (Eastern time) tonight or tomorrow (December 28). So you don't have long to grab the new-year tech you've been keen on. So get a wriggle on and score those savings before they disappear. It'll be a while yet before such discounts come calling again.
An outsized Dyson deal
I've kept an eye on Dyson's Outsize model for a good deal because it's usually the better option for larger homes, thanks to the bigger footprint of its main cleaning heads and the bigger bin.
All through November the Gen5outsize didn't see a price drop, which happened after the sale – earlier in December. It was down to AU$799 and although the price right now isn't as good, it's still plenty of savings.
Other than the bigger main cleaning head and bigger bin, it even gets a bigger battery so you get a maximum runtime of 70 minutes compared to the usual 60. And that makes this bigger – albeit heavier – Dyson very good value.
Dyson Gen5outsize Absolute: AU$1,649 AU$876 at Dyson
Get a Grip on this JBL speaker
JBL is no stranger to producing excellent Bluetooth speakers – just take the Flip and Charge series are prime examples – but it's latest creation, the Grip, is one of the cutest in my opinion – and it's now down to AU$69 at Amazon AU (in one colour).
Admittedly, we do think the Flip 7 provides just a touch more value (it's also discounted at Amazon), but there's no denying the Grip is a truly fun little speaker (it's roughly the size of a Coke can), offering excellent weather protection and a big, bold sound we've come to expect from JBL. Plus, it can now be yours for well under AU$100, representing great bang for your buck.
The best price at Amazon is on the black colour, but all of them are under AU$80.
JBL Grip: AU$129.95 from AU$68.99 on Amazon
These Sharks bite – from just AU$300
Shark has proved over and over again that it can get you an excellent vacuum without the high price tag that some of its stiffest competitors have. I mean, you only need to look at the best vacuum cleaners in Australia or the best cordless stick vacuums to know how good they are.
And one of the best places to pick up a Shark at an even lower price is on Amazon. One of the most popular budget Shark cordless vacuums is the Shark IZ102 that's now just AU$212 right now – but there's another affordable Shark I'd like to turn your attention to.
It's the Shark PowerPro and, as our review says, "it's the best value" vacuum our tester has ever tried and I agree that it's a better option than the much older IZ102. It's much newer, so is more efficient and powerful in comparison. And, interestingly, you won't find it on Amazon.
Shark PowerPro (IZ377H): AU$399.99 AU$299.99 at Shark
Another SharkPro model that I can't see on Amazon is the Shark PowerPro Flex Reveal, which adds a bendy wand to the PowerPro itself to get under furniture, as well as brighter headlights on the cleaning head to reveal the dirt hiding under there. And it too is discounted directly from Shark by 22%.
Shark PowerPro Flex Reveal: AU$449.99 AU$349.99 at Shark
