Best Lego Boxing Day 2025 deals
Up to AU$100
This is the classic Lego starter pack for most kids (or people), giving you 790 pieces of varying colours, including different types of windows, doors, baseplates, tyres and wheels. The best part is that they’re all enclosed within a big plastic lego piece-shaped box, instantly giving you a place to dump all of them when not in use. This discount makes this already affordable set a bargain, perfect for an alternate present in case your initial gift wasn’t received particularly well.
Whether you're looking for a smaller set as decoration, or just want a quick and easy build, you can't go wrong with this Lego Star Wars set. It features a Mandalorian Nite Owl and Warrior facing off against two Imperial Commandos, each with a blaster. With this price, I might grab more than one.
This low-cost set from Lego's Botanicals collection can be a nice alternative to a desk plant, recreating three bamboo shoots sticking out of a pot. This set would also feel right at home alongside other Botanicals kits if you have a few in your arsenal already.
Lego is back in the board game business with Monkey Palace, where players build the tallest palace using arches and supporting bricks. Our colleagues at GamesRadar+ said in their review that the rules can be confusing at first, but once you get the hang of it, the game is simple and quick. The integration with Lego makes this relatively pricey for a board game, but this discount makes it more competitively priced.
Remember when Jedi Master Sifo-Dyas requested the most powerful army in the galaxy? No? Well, this ship cost the Galactic Republic 20,000 credits – so snagging it for just AU$56.25 is quite the deal. Made for adults to put on display, it might be tough for younger kids to build on their own – but it's undeniably a great gift for any Star Wars fan.
Geared towards adult Lego fans, this set recreates one of the two lamps from the opening credits of every Pixar movie. This deal should bring home nostalgia of all the studio's movies, with a posable head, extendable arm and the beloved Pixar ball, but note that the set ships from Amazon Germany.
A toy building block set about a character in a game that's all about building blocks? Sign me right up! This recreation of Minecraft's The Creeper is ostensibly an action figure with its moveable legs and poseable head that moves side to side and tilts up and down. It's a bit pricey for what it is at RRP, but this discount is better than a lot of the Lego deals so far.
I woke up in a new Bugatti ... Lego set. This small recreation of the Bugatti Centodieci hypercar features the real car's 5 round air-intake features on the side, unique alloy wheels, headlights, horseshoe radiator grille, overhanging rear wing and 4 rear exhaust pipes. It even includes a minifigure that you can place behind the wheel. This already cheap set gets more enticing with this discount.
"Wrong the instructions may be, but find a way, a true builder will." That's what I think Yoda will say if he had trouble building a Lego set. Bad Yoda-speak attempt aside, this keyring from Lego is as cheap as a Lego Star Wars product goes, and it's further discounted to make it even more tempting.
Ever wanted to try playing Mario Kart in real life? This Lego set doesn't quite let you drive the karts themselves but you can at least race them with other people. It also comes with four characters from the game – Peach, Toad, Lakitu and Lemmy. This discount should make this set a no-brainer for any Mario or Nintendo fan.
Arguably the most recognisable artwork in Japanese history, The Great Wave off Kanagawa gets the Lego treatment with this 1,810-piece set. At RRP, this kit is arguably great value compared to some art prints and paintings, and this discount should make this even more tempting, although please note that this offer is from a third-party reseller on Amazon.
Yer a wizard, Harry! This set lets you recreate Rubeus Hagrid and Harry Potter’s escape scene from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows with poseable figures on a motorcycle and sidecar. This one’s aimed for kids over 9 years old and its reasonably smaller size makes this one an affordable licenced set.
If you’re looking to add more desk plants but don’t want to worry about them dying, these bonsai sets should fit the bill... provided you also happen to be a Lego fan, of course! The trees are ginkgo with yellow leaves, black pine with green needles and a wisteria with hanging lilac flowers. The set also includes two ornamental stands to allow the bonsais to be displayed at different heights and in different combinations. At RRP, these may be a bit pricey compared to real desk plants, but this discount makes this set more competitive.
Up to AU$200
This is an extremely tempting set if you’re looking to add some flair to a benchtop or set of shelves. It doesn’t have any minifigures, nor is there much to ‘play’ with, but it looks good on its own as a decoration. The discount isn't massive, but this price is quite competitive as far as home decor goes.
This set can be an adorable addition to a bookshelf or desk, and it's one of the more affordable Lego Star Wars kits at just AU$119. Sitting in his hover pram, this is a pretty large piece at 19 x 18 x 16 cm and it comes with neat accessories like Grogu's favourite treat (a Sorgan frog), a shifter knob and a cookie for him to hold in his hands. The figure also has moveable arms and a posable head/ears.
Love cats but don't necessarily want the responsibility of pet ownership? Lego’s tuxedo cat statue might just fit the bill. Available with yellow and blue eyes in the box, this set can decorate a desk, shelf or really any surface (i.e. just like a real cat) and has a posable head, tail and paws.
While the full-sized UCS Star Wars Millennium Falcon is on sale as well (see below), this smaller model is more affordable and, let’s be honest, is more likely to fit in a small space. It’s a good option if you’ve always wanted a Lego Falcon but haven’t been able to justify the high price and/or size. This set will ship in from Amazon Japan.
This Battle Bus Lego set is a great option for any Fortnite fan, but also looks nice enough to serve as decor. You’ll of course get the iconic blue bus, but this kit also includes nine minifigures wearing classic Fortnite outfits. This has been cheaper before, but this discount is still respectable for a licensed set.
Up to AU$300
This version of the Star Wars Imperial Star Destroyer set is a bit more kid-friendly (and cheaper), and still recreates the real thing – interior and all – as seen in Episode IV, V and VI. It also features minifigures of Darth Vader and a bunch of little Imperial troops.
This 4,383-piece set is an authentic recreation of the Notre Dame cathedral in Paris, which is currently being rebuilt. Lego faithfully portrayed the building as a scale model with a removable roof. Like most Lego Architecture models, this one is pricey, but this deal makes it at least a bit more affordable.
If you were really taken by the architecture and history of the Himeji Castle during your last holiday to Japan (I swear every second person I know has been at least once over the past few years), then this Lego Architecture set should help you relive that trip from the comfort of your own home. For a set from this series, this one is relatively cheaper as it has 2,125 pieces, so this discount makes this even more tempting.
Part of Lego’s Technic line, this model of the Porsche 911 RSR replicates the supercar’s features including a rear wing with ‘swan neck’ mounts, extended rear diffuser and aerodynamic side mirrors, plus black spoked rims and realistic head and tail lights. It also has a working differential, independent suspension and a six-cylinder boxer engine with moving pistons. This set’s pricey for something rated for kits 10 years old and above, but this discount can ease the purchase decision a bit.
This set is Lego’s largest and minifigure-scale model of the Hogwarts Castle main tower that’s still aimed for kids. Apart from the details like the swiveling Grand Staircase, the Mirror of Erised and a trapdoor in Fluffy’s room, this set also has 12 minifigures including Hermione Granger, Albus Dumbledore and Harry Potter himself, as well as plus Fluffy, Hedwig and Fawkes figures. This one’s pricey for a kids-specific set, but this discount makes it a bit more palatable.
This is Halloween, this is Halloween, pumpkins scream in the dead of night! This set recreates the neighbourhood in the classic holiday movie The Nightmare Before Christmas, with models of Spiral Hill and the graveyard, Jack Skellington’s house and the Halloween Town Hall with a fountain. It also includes eight minifigs including Jack, Santa Clause and more. As an adult-focused set, this one isn’t the cheapest, but this discount should make it tempting for anyone who’s a fan of the movie.
Up to AU$500
This Lego set captures the iconic Deku Tree from Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It even includes a minifigure of Link with his Master Sword and Hylian Shield, along with Zelda, a Sheikah Slate and a few Koroks. Not quite close to its lowest price, but this discount can make it more tempting for any Zelda fan.
If you've just finished the latest season of Stranger Things and you're itching for more Dungeons and Dragons, this kit from Lego's Ideas collection is a nice way to immerse yourself in the RPG's fantasy setting. It's not the biggest discount, but it could just be enough to entice a hardcore D&D fan.
Merry Christmas ya filthy animal! This set recreates the iconic McCallister family home in the first Home Alone movie, which in my opinion is the ultimate Christmas movie. The house itself opens up for easy access to see the interior full of items recreating some scenes. Also included are five minifigures, including Kevin McCallister and the two crooks trying to break in, Harry and Marv. This set is on the pricey side of things given that it has 3,957 pieces, but this discount should make it more easy to swallow.
Sky's the limit
One does not simply purchase a full-priced Lego set, and you won’t have to with this deal from Amazon. This Lord of the Rings kit features the Eye of Sauron sitting atop an epicly sized Dark Tower, along with a fun cast of minifigures including Sauron, Frodo, Gollum and more.
Another large-scale Star Wars set, this is the Venator-Class Republic Attack Cruiser, one of the colossal battleships used during the Clone Wars. It comes with a scaled-down gunship inside, along with a minifigure Captain Rex and Admiral Yularen. The discount isn't the biggest, but then this is a 5,374-piece set.
This gargantuan 7,541-piece set is not only one of the biggest in size Lego has ever made, it's also one of the most coveted by both Lego and Star Wars fans alike. As expected for a model this big, its AU$1,299 RRP is a lot of money to spend on Lego, but this 12% discount should make it a bit more enticing for the hardcore collector.
LIVE: Latest Updates
Wrap up 2025 with some discounted Lego
It’s the most wonderful time of the year – because you can get Lego for cheap! With just one sleep before Christmas Day, retailers across Australia have kicked off their Boxing Day sales early and I’m on the lookout for some sweet deals on Lego sets.
There are already a lot of good deals around for sets like Star Wars, Architecture, Icons and more, with choices for a wide range of ages and budgets. So far though, not many deals are beating Black Friday/Cyber Monday prices, but I’ll be on the lookout to keep you as updated as possible.
So come along with me over the next few days to track down the best Lego deals I can find, whether you’re shopping for a loved one or for yourself to add another piece to your growing collection.
Should you spend thousands on a Lego set?
Lego has always been a relatively pricey purchase as far as toys go, but the company has been making more and more sets close to and over AU$1,000, like the 7,541-piece Lego Star Wars Millennium Falcon 75192 and the 9,023-piece Lego Star Wars Death Star 75419.
This has been a deliberate move into the luxury toy category by Lego, targeting the so-called Adult Fans of Lego (AFOL) with its own dedicated division. These sets range from licenced IP-based sets like the Star Wars ones above to recreations of the Titanic and the Eiffel Tower (both have more than 9,000 pieces and cost AU$999.99 RRP).
Apart from the extra cost incurred by licencing fees for some sets, Lego also justifies the premium price with its bricks being manufactured with a tolerance of 0.005mm to ensure that every single brick it made from as early as 1960 will still snap in perfectly onto a newly made brick today. The bricks are also made with high-quality ABS plastic, and the expensive steel moulds to make the bricks have to be replaced frequently – both contributing to the premium pricing.
Lego's Technic line also has some high-end sets that include motors and even Bluetooth connectivity to allow controlling the built set through a smartphone app. The now-retired AU$1,049.99 Lego Liebherr Crawler Crane features multiple motors and Bluetooth hubs – which were more expensive than the plastic bricks themselves.
Should you buy these sets? If you have cash to spend, sure – but make sure you have enough room to display them once they're assembled, because these can get huge. The Lego Star Wars Millennium Falcon I mentioned above is 83cm long and 60cm wide, while the Eiffel Tower set is almost as tall as an adolescent child at 149cm!
Amazon's Boxing Day sale is live, and this big Lego Star Wars set is AU$250 off
Amazon Australia officially kicked off its Boxing Day sales earlier today, and with it came a slew of discounted Lego sets.
One of the standout sets for me, being a true Lego fan, is the 5,374-piece Lego Star Wars Venator-Class Republic Attack Cruiser, which has had 25% slashed from its RRP of AU$999.99.
That's a huge discount on a huge set, and a great gift for any Star Wars fan – even if that's yourself!
The Venator-Class Republic Attack Cruiser appeared in Episode III, and this set recreates the ship's features, including the command bridge and hangar with a buildable scale model of a Republic Gunship inside. This also has 2 minifigures of Clone Wars leaders Captain Rex and Admiral Yularen.
• Star Wars Venator-Class Republic Attack Cruiser: was AU$999.98 AU$749.98 at Amazon
It's Christmas Day!
From us here at the Aussie TechRadar team, we wish you all a Merry Christmas!
If you've landed on this page today, then you're clearly not looking for presents for other people but something for yourself perhaps – something to ring in the new year. But until then, we hope you enjoy the rest of the day, hopefully with loved ones and with stuffed bellies.
Christmas decor, Lego style
OK, so maybe this one's better suited for next Christmas at this point, but it's a unique touch to add to anyone's Christmas table. Complete with red berries, golden stars and green foliage around a red candle, this set can help kids (or adults) have a bit of fun while decorating for Christmas. You can grab it from Amazon here.
Lego for Christmas Day board game night? Yes please!
One of the Lego deals we've posted is the company's return to the board game business. Monkey Palace, where players build the tallest palace using arches and supporting bricks. Our colleagues at GamesRadar+ said in their review that the rules can be confusing at first, but once you get the hang of it, the game is simple and quick. The integration with Lego makes this relatively pricey for a board game, but this discount makes it more competitively priced.
And yes, this will very much be for next Christmas if you're thinking of getting it – but the non-festive nature of the game can definitely be played all-year round.
It's Boxing Day! More deals are coming in fast
Tis the season for more Lego deals! It's Boxing Day, the last major sale of the year and we're expecting to see discounts close to what we saw last month during Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
You can expect to see new discounts on Lego sets across a range of retailers, or further discounts on the deals we've already posted.
Check these links below to check all the deals from various Aussie retailers:
Millennium Falcon vs Death Star: which is the best Lego Star Wars set?
Are you a Star Wars and Lego fan? Then you certainly need to eye the massive builds of the Millennium Falcon and the Death Star. Sure, they're expensive, but hey, they're fantastic! I'd admit that most us wouldn't buy both, given their respective price tags, so how do you choose?
If you haven't already made up your minds, take a look at what our colleagues over at Space.com have to say. They took the time to build both sets and weighed out the pros and cons.
The Lego sets coming in 2026
Lego keeps expanding its range and 2026 will bring many new sets and that includes the Stranger Things: The Creel House and the Time Machine from Back To The Future. Of course, there's more Star Wars, Marvel, Harry Potter, City and Ninjago sets.
The good news is that many of these are coming in January 2026.
You can take a look at the full list of sets coming in 2026 on Lego's AU site.
Merry Christmas, ya filthy animal!
If you saw Home Alone as part of your Christmas watchlist, then this set should bring back the nostalgia of when you first watched the movie.
You and your family can recreate some of the scenes you enjoyed in the movie with the five minifigures – Kevin McCallister, mum Kate McCallister, neighbour Old Man Marley, and the two crooks, Harry and Marv.
Aside from the house itself, which can be opened up to access the interior, the set also includes Harry and Marv’s van with crowbar and police hat elements inside.
This set isn't cheap at just over AU$400 after a discount, but this is Lego's biggest kit in its Ideas series, with 3,957 pieces.
Lego Ideas Home Alone: was AU$449.99 now AU$403.65
And that is a wrap! Boxing Day may be done soon but deals will stick around
Thank you all for following along this live blog for Boxing Day and I hope I tempted you with some deals on Lego sets above.
While Boxing Day is almost over, deals will still be around well into the new year in some cases and this live blog will also be back again tomorrow.
Until then, you can also check out more Boxing Day deals here, as well as deals from Amazon, deals for laptops, Apple products, and more.
A classic Lego set that should stand the test of time
If you’re starting out a fresh new Lego collection for a child (or a multiple children), you can’t go wrong with a set of classic blocks that can help any budding builder run with their imagination with versatile pieces. The 790-piece Lego Classic Large Creative Brick Box fits the bill perfectly, while also coming in a big Lego-shaped storage box to keep things tidy after playtime.
Lego Classic Large Creative Brick Box: was AU$79.99 now AU$55 on Amazon
Don’t have enough room for the whole Lego Hogwarts Castle? You can get the set's Main Tower at a discount
The 6,020-piece Lego Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle set is a coveted kit by both Harry Potter and Lego fans alike, but its sprawling size (58cm high, 69cm wide and 43cm deep) means it may not work for those living in smaller spaces. It’s also not discounted as part of Boxing Day, and its RRP of AU$699.99 is a lot to spend on a Lego set.
Amazon, though, has the main tower part of the set discounted to AU$295.73, more than AU$100 off the RRP. While it may feel incomplete for some, the set still has an impressive 2,135 pieces and it also includes 12 minifigures – Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and Albus Dumbledore to name a few. When built, this model also occupies a much smaller space, with it being 67cm high, 36cm wide and 14cm deep.

Thank you for joining us! Deals will be around into the new year
While we'll be wrapping up this Lego live blog today to get some well-deserved R&R, many of the deals above should stick around well into the new year, so if any take your fancy we'd encourage you to check and confirm for yourself.
We'd still be quick though, as some of the deals will likely run out of stock before the official sales events wrap up, and some retailers can increase deal prices on the fly.
You can also check out more of the best Boxing Day deals here, as well as deals from Amazon, deals for laptops, Apple products and more.
