When is The Fantastic Four: First Steps coming to Disney+?
The Marvel Phase 6 film will make its Disney+ debut in early November
It's almost time to welcome Marvel's First Family home. The Fantastic Four: First Steps is set to make its Disney+ debut on Wednesday, November 5 so, whether you'll be watching for the first or umpteenth time, you don't have much longer to wait to stream it at home.
Before you check out the final Marvel movie of 2025, make sure you read my review of The Fantastic Four: First Steps to see if it's worth viewing on one of the world's best streaming services. Once you're done, read on for even more details about the first Marvel Phase 6 film ahead of its Disney+ launch.
When can I watch The Fantastic Four: First Steps on Disney+?
As I mentioned in this article's introduction, The Fantastic Four's latest big-screen adventure will land on Disney+ shortly. Indeed, it's due out on the platform on Wednesday, November 5. That means it'll land on the service 103 days after its initial theatrical release on July 25.
To put that into context: Thunderbolts*, which made its theatrical debut on May 2, didn't join Disney+ until August 27. That means 117 days passed between its initial theatrical release and its Disney+ debut. Meanwhile, Captain America: Brave New World, the first of three Marvel films that dropped this year, took 103 days to land on Disney+ following its arrival in cinemas worldwide.
First Steps' arrival in early November is something of a pleasant surprise. I predicted we wouldn't see the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) flick until mid-November, with one of 2025's new movies likely to be released in time for US Thanksgiving.
Can I rent or buy The Fantastic Four: First Steps on other streaming services?
Yes. Disney confirmed The Fantastic Four: First Steps would land on a variety of online stores on September 23. That included premium video on demand (PVoD) platforms like Amazon, Apple TV, Sky, and YouTube.
With one of this year's final new Disney+ movies set to land on Disney's primary streaming service soon, those of you who have an account will be able to stream it for 'free' very soon.

What is the runtime for The Fantastic Four: First Steps?
One of the best Marvel movies (of recent years, anyway) doesn't force you to sit through another long comic book movie flick. Indeed, its official runtime is only one hour and 54 minutes – a runtime length that includes its mid- and post-credits scenes.
