Fortnite's latest update is finally here, continuing with Fortnite Pacific Break which switches up the map once again. After the conclusion of a live event, Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 1 kicked off with a huge overhaul of core gameplay systems. It's frequent updates like these that make Fortnite one of the best battle royale games around. The next season of Fortnite is yet to be announced fully, but we expect it to follow the Hollywood theme of the chapter so far. The last major update added Winterfest, and a Harry Potter collaboration. For now, we'll have to wait until next year for info on Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2.

Fortnite has a completely new map that launched alongside the new season. It's a fresh Island, with all new POIs, and is a bit smaller than the last map. The image above shows you where all of the major locations are, including Sandy Strip, Fore Fields, and Bumpy Bay.

The biggest change for the new map is that players no longer dive out of the Battle Bus at the start of each match. Instead, you now surf along a huge wave, before launching into the air to land at a nearby location.
