We're well into 2026 now, and thoughts might be turning to spring cleaning the house to get everything ship-shape for the year. Getting started can be a struggle, and if you're looking for the kick you need to roll up your sleeves, might I suggest heading to IKEA?

The Swedish homeware giant has plenty of accessories to take the effort out of your annual spring clean – and its even gone to the trouble of making them look great, too. These sunny yellow, sage green and calming blue cloths, caddies and scrubbers will brighten up your cleaning efforts, and I've also included some stylish recycling bins and a useful extendable sink organizer to keep things looking tidy once you're done.

I've also picked out a couple of extra gadgets to help your home feel refreshed – a compact air purifier with a carry handle, so you can tote it around easily and pop it in any room and an air quality sensor that forms part of IKEA's affordable smart home gadget range. And if you do want to embrace the smart home ecosystem, don't forget to add in a Dirigera hub to control it all from.
