The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge has proven to be a divisive phone, but I suspect it's about to become a whole lot more popular as Amazon is currently listing the device for just $699.99 (was $1,099).

Not only is this a new record-low price, but today's deal is for the higher-end 256GB variant rather than the entry-level 128GB version.

Amazon has just dropped the 256GB Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge down to an eye-popping $699.99 today. Not only is that a record-low price for this new flagship, but it brings the device to a lower price than even the standard Galaxy S25. With a powerful chipset and stunningly thin design, the Galaxy S25 Edge is a great buy at $699 - and particularly if you want a lightweight device.

Our Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge review gave a fair assessment of the device, praising its design and performance, while highlighting the various compromises Samsung had to make to cram so many features into a super-slim body.

Our biggest criticism revolved around the cameras and the battery life. The camera setup isn't quite as versatile as the other devices in the range, and our testing showed that the Edge's battery life lagged slightly behind the standard S25 (13 hours under heavy use, for the record).

At $699, however, the Edge is definitely worth checking out. Under the hood, you get the same Snapdragon chipset as the other models and a stunning 6.7-inch AMOLED display capable of 120Hz. The 200MP main camera should satisfy all but the most avid mobile photographers, too - especially at this price.
