This epic iPhone 17 Pro deal at Verizon gets you the phone, six months of Apple One, and an iPad for free

If you've been thinking about upgrading to the excellent iPhone 17 Pro, then there's one deal that might just make you take the plunge this week.

It's Verizon's current promo on the flagship, which gets you the device for free with a new unlimited line and trade-in, plus six months of Apple One free and the option to bundle in an iPad on the house.

While this particular deal is only eligible on the high-end (and pricey) Ultimate unlimited plan, you're potentially getting over $1,500 in extra value here with the various 'freebies'. I put freebies in quotations here because you'll still need to trade in and pay for the plan itself.

If you can get past that, however, then this is a superb deal that's available to both new and existing customers at Verizon. Even if you don't claim the iPad, you're saving at least $120 on the Apple One subscription alone and getting one of the best trade-in rebates on the market currently.

The biggest possible discount is a massive $1,100 saving that's currently available on the high-end iPhone 17 Pro devices, which is available with a new line on the Ultimate unlimited plan. That is a very pricey plan, but Verizon is also throwing in a $200 switching bonus and a free iPad and six months of Apple One to sweeten the deal. Note that the iPad, while free, does still require a cellular line.

The iPhone 17 Pro is one of the most significant upgrades in recent years to Apple's excellent flagship model. This latest iteration has received not just a gorgeous redesign, but also some superb new features under the hood.

Key upgrades include a new triple 48MP camera array with 4x optical and 8x hybrid zoom, an 18MP front camera, and the A19 Pro chip. The processor is aided by a new vapor chamber cooling system, which Apple claims helps the chipset deliver performance that rivals the MacBook Pro.
