This refreshed version of one of Dyson's more affordable vacuums is nothing short of incredible. You get an improved 150AW of suction power and up to 60 minutes of fade-free runtime. The newer model also gets 3 suction modes as opposed to only 2 and even in low power, our tests found it to be "sucky". If you want to spend less, you can get the original V8 for NZ$499.

This 3-in-1 floor washer can vacuum, mop and clean itself. Naturally, it's most at home on hard floors, but it's also good to use on low-pile carpet. Powerful suction ensures debris and spills are collected with ease, although we would have loved to have seen some extra attachments for tight corners. It's not as powerful or full-featured as other, more expensive Deebots, but it can still do a pretty decent job of cleaning up hard floors. Its navigation is great, but be careful with small items and cables on the floor as this bot might find itself entangled. It will mop quite well too, but don't expect the scrubbing motion from the more high-end robot vacuums.

In our tests, we found this robovac offered excellent vacuuming and mopping, leaving our reviewer thoroughly impressed by how little was required of them thanks to its multifunctional base station.
