The Italy vs South Africa live stream is set to be a fascinating contest as the reigning world champions take on an Italian team brimming with confidence after recording an impressive come-from-behind victory over Australia.

The Azzuri looked to be heading for defeat in Udine last weekend when Australia scored three tries without reply in the opening 51 minutes. However, Italy were able to turn the Test on its head thanks to the boot of fly-half Paolo Garbisi as well as tries from Louis Lynagh and Monty Ioane. A victory built on resilience, intensity and some attacking flair, Gonzalo Quesada’s side will need to raise their game to yet another level if they hope to overcome South Africa.

Having retained the Rugby Championship last month, the Springboks kicked off their tour of the northern hemisphere with a battling win over France. Trailing 14-13 and reduced to 14 men, head coach Rassie Erasmus made the big call to replace captain Siya Kolisi with Andre Esterhuizen. It proved to be an inspired move as South Africa secured a 32-17 victory. The Boks will expect another physical test against Italy and may well look to freshen up the pack after a tough match at the Stade de France.
