KitchenAid Artisan stand mixers are a cult favorite, and for good reason. Each one packs a powerful motor that will make light work of even the firmest bread dough, and they're robust enough to give you decades of happy baking in a build that looks fantastic.
The downside is that this quality doesn't come cheap – unless you take a look at KitchenAid's collection of professionally refurbished appliances, where you'll find a great range of stand mixers for half price or even less.
Below you'll find some of the refurbished mixers currently on sale, but bear in mind that these are just a few examples, and the stock of each one is limited. If the refurbished mixer you're interested in has sold out, take a look at the full selection on KitchenAid's website – and happy baking.

This is the same stand mixer I have in my own kitchen at home (though mine is turquoise). Its bowl is large enough to mix dough for two loaves of bread at once, and its variable settings let it handle delicate tasks like whisking eggs and whipping cream. At half price, it's a steal.

Choosing a refurbished mixer doesn't mean settling for just one color. This is the same tilt-head stand mixer as the one above, but in glossy Onyx Black. Combined with the stainless steel bowl, it would look particularly stunning in a modern kitchen.

This mixer has a lift-out bowl rather than a hinged top, making it even sturdier on your countertop than a tilt-head model. If you're going to be kneading particularly stiff low-hydration dough regularly, it could be the right one for you, particularly at this price.

OK, you're not getting the whole mixer here, but the ice cream maker is my absolute favorite attachment, and at 50% off, it's an absolute bargain. Freeze the bowl, attach the churning paddle to your mixer, then pour in your ingredients for smooth ice cream or sorbet in 30 minutes.
All of these mixers, attachments, and other appliances have been professionally restored by KitchenAid's professionals to look and perform like new. Just like full-price products, they're backed by warranties and KitchenAid's own customer service.
Can't see something that really catches your eye? KitchenAid is also running a Valentine's Day sale, with 20% off countertop kitchen appliances, including stand mixers and accessories, plus up to $250 off coffee makers. Below you'll find a couple of my favorite offers, but you can browse the full sale to see everything.

I gave this bean-to-cup coffee maker almost full marks in my review thanks to its ability to brew consistently delicious espresso with perfectly foamed milk. It only lost points for its price, but with $200 off for Valentine's Day, it's a lot more palatable.

Already got a stand mixer? This bowl is a super cute addition, and is just half price in KitchenAid's Valentine's Day sale. It's freezer-, dishwasher-, microwave-, and oven-safe, and comes with a five-year no-chip guarantee.
