I'm starting with the cheapest option at Dell right now, which is this Dell 15 Laptop for $299.99 (was $379.99). I like this one if you just need a basic and capable 15-inch laptop for everyday use and light work. It definitely isn't a performance powerhouse, but with an AMD Ryzen 3 processor, 8GB of RAM and a reasonable 512GB SSD for storage, you'll have everything you need for daily use.
If you want to spend more on a powerful workstation for multitasking and more demanding jobs, then instead I'd go for this Dell 14 Plus for $799.99 (was $1,099). It boasts a high-end Intel Core Ultra 7 CPU, 16GB of RAM, and a large 1TB SSD – an impressive set of overall specs that will comfortably handle most things outside of gaming. It's the device we scored an excellent 4.5/5 in our recent review, too.
Those are just two of my recommendations from the Dell New Year sale. Have a browse through the full list below, which also includes a strong mid-range option and an ideal pick if you're hunting for a budget gaming laptop.

Alienware is one of the pricier brands when it comes to gaming laptops, but this is a good price for a budget option in Dell's latest sale. The spec boasts a responsive 16-inch 120Hz display and components that are suitable for running most games in 1080p at medium to high settings. Some tweaks may be needed depending on the game, but it should comfortably handle almost anything you want to run. It's perhaps best, though, for less demanding titles such as Fortnite, Roblox, League of Legends and indies.
